Fluorolon 1091 is a 15% Graphite Filled Reinforced PTFE Alloy which improves the wear properties, dimensional stability and thus reduces extrusion. The grade exhibits high heat resistance and excellent resistance to chemical agents and solvents. Excellent is dry running seal and bearing applicationes however not recommended in gas or vacuum sealing.

Chemical Compatibility

PTFE ALLOY 1091 has a good chemical compatibility. This material is compatible whit most fluids and gases, except Sorong oxidizers and certain concentrated acids.

FDA Compliance

PTFE ALLOY 1091 is not FDA compliant.
