Los sellos de PTFE activados por resorte ofrecen sellado estático y dinámico de temperatura extrema, alta presión, químicamente inerte para las aplicaciones más exigentes. Nuestra delgada y flexible cubierta de sellado de PTFE, diseñada para ser resistente, utiliza un resorte diseñado para aplicar presión hacia el exterior al elemento de sellado, a bajas presiones. Se crea un sello altamente eficiente, a medida que la presión del sistema aumenta lo suficiente para tomar el relevo del resorte y enganchar el eje o el orificio. El resorte o el ensamble del sello energizado proporciona resistencia permanente a la cubierta del sello y compensa el desgaste de la cubierta, la desalineación del hardware y la excentricidad. El material de la cubierta es crítico en el diseño, para asegurar un rendimiento de sellado adecuado. Ofrecemos compuestos de PTFE específicos para la aplicación, es decir, sellos de alta PV, sellos criogénicos, sellos de alta temperatura y aleaciones de sello de PTFE con rellenos como el grafito de PTFE, Poliamida de PTFE, carbono de PTFE, PTFE de PPS, y Rulon L, Rulon J y Rulon equivalentes.
