Fluorolon PTFE 1700 is a Premium PTFE fluoropolymer. Modified so as to provide low permeability, superior mechanical properties and improved surface finishes on critical parts. The characteristics are: high heat resistance, high resistance to Chemicals agents and solvents, high dielectric properties, low friction, good elongation and lower shedding of particles.

Chemical Compatibility

PTFE 1700 has excellent chemical comatibility. The material is compatible with all fluids except fluirinated fluids and alkali metals.

FDA Compliance

PTFE is an ” FDA compliant” resin for use in food contact.
