Fluorolon 5000 Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene, is espacially suited for medium load/ high rpm bearing applicationes, also is superior replacement for metal in many applications, FDA approved and excepcional Chemical resistance.

Chemical Compatibility

UHMW 5000 performs well in water and other aqueous Solutions. It is highly suitable for use in contact witk ketones, alcohols, amines, and esters and has limited applications in contact with oxidizing.

FDA Compliance

UHMW 5000 is an ” FDA compliant” resin use in food contact. It meets FDA Rgulation 21 CFR 117.1520, and USDA requirements for use in food contact applications.

The mechanical properties of UHMW 5000 at ambient temperaturas are:
